Rocker Adjustment

Rocker Adjustment refers to the process of modifying, refining or tuning the board’s rocker line to change how it generates speed, responds through turns, and maintains flow across the wave. Adjustments influence lift, release, projection, pivot sensitivity and how the board transitions between entry, middle and tail phases.

Its behaviour depends on how the adjusted curve integrates with the entry rocker, middle rocker, tail rocker and the board’s outline flow. Proper adjustment calibrates speed carry, drive generation, control in tight pockets and overall responsiveness.

Rocker Adjustment Components

Shapers refine rocker adjustment through calibrated sanding passes, foil balancing and curvature blending that maintain responsiveness, feedback and control.
