The Silmaril was born from an intensive development process led by Eric Arakawa and professional surfer Shayden Pacarro. Over 12 months, several prototypes were tested to create a shortboard that delivers speed, drive, and instant response—meeting the demands of surfers who apply power on the rails and seek precise vertical maneuvers.

Material and Construction
Built in PU (polyurethane) or EPS (epoxy), the Silmaril features a carbon stringer for balanced stiffness, reinforced inserts for added durability, and eco-friendly resin to reduce environmental impact. The bottom is shaped with a deep single concave and progressive rocker, delivering instant response in turns and stability at high speeds — even in critical waves.
Ideal Wave Conditions
Recommended for waves between 1 and 2.5 meters, the Silmaril excels in beach breaks and reef breaks with wall and power, such as Supertubos, Coxos, Pedra Branca, Praia Grande, Cabedelo, Rocky Point, Ala Moana Bowls, Rincon, Bells, V-Land, Keramas, and J-Bay. The board maintains high performance even under pressure in demanding sections.
